FEPS President Maria João Rodrigues took part in the Euronews talk show ‘Brussels, my love?‘ to discuss the Commission’s plans to scale back on red tape and environmental legislation. The debate also covered key challenges for the EU, including the cost of living, inflation, and public transportation. She was joined by Varg Folkman, Policy Analyst at the European Policy Centre, and Connor Allen, a corporate lobbyist.

Discussing the real economy and the concept of ‘greedflation’, where companies are exploiting inflation to justify price hikes, Maria João Rodrigues took a more positive note saying “innovation provides better products and services to make our life more sustainable. Here, Europe can take the competitive lead of the world“.
