FEPS with its French Partner, the Jean-Jaurès Foundation,organize a high level conference on Digital Data entitled “Should European digital protectionism be defended?” hosted by the National Assembly in Paris on June 10.  

The aim of the Debate is to create a privileged space of exchange from Europe and North America around political leaders such as Axelle Lemaire, Catherine Trautmann, Pascal Lamy, prominent law and business figures and leading scholars who can offer their time and rare expertise on Digital Development and personal Data.

This conference is one in a series entitled “New digital societies: what balances for the protection of innovation, privacy and liberties? ” hosted by The French National Parliament.

On  September 23, 2014, we debated on Personal data protection, a brake on the European digital economy.

On November 20, 2014 the we discussed “United States, Canada, Europe:  the issue of personal data protection in free trade partnership discussion”.
