FEPS Young Academics Network will gather in the hospitable premises of Renner Institut in Vienna for already 21st time! This session will be inaugurating the new 6th cycle, which will be launched in presence of 40 Members. Some among them are already experienced, however following the call also many new will join  – all of whom are progressive researchers currently working on their respective PhD or celebrating recently defending them.

The programme of the seminar will be divided into three parts – the first enabling inclusion and getting familiar with FEPS and its ongoing activities; the second will be an opportunity to review the abstracts, which as research proposals have been submitted ahead of the event by every respective Member; and finally the third will see formation of the new cycle’s thematic working groups and development of the research plans.

This already full agenda will be further completed by a discussion on the situation in Austria, especially in the context of the upcoming parliamentary elections and the resonance of some of the trends observed in the broader EU context. The event will be managed by the FEPS YAN Seminar Team: Dr. Ania Skrzypek ( ania.skrzypek@feps-europe.eu), FEPS Senior Research Fellow and Ms Elena Gil (elena.gil@feps-europe.eu), FEPS New Media Advisor.
