Kaisa VATANEN is Chief Research Officer at Mandate Research (formerly Datapraxis).

Kaisa was formerly the Head of Research and Policy of SDP Finland, and former Vice President of the progressive think tank Kalevi Sorsa Foundation, focusing on research on inequality, democracy, and fair transition.

She has graduated in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Southampton, UK and the University of Helsinki, Finland.
