What do millennials think about their future? Are they pessimistic or optimistic? Whom do they identify as responsible for the living situation that they find themselves in? How does the Millennial generation perceive its well-being and future possibilities when compared to older ones, the so-called Baby Boomers? The Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS) and the Felipe González Foundation (FFG) have asked Spaniards between 18 and 37 how they see the future in their country. The survey responses have been compiled in the report “The vital perspectives of young people”, prepared by Belén Barreiro and MyWord. This report builds on the Millennial Dialogue project of FEPS and aims to shed a deeper understanding as to how progressive politics of today can address and frame the sudden rise of intergenerational conflict under a positive sense.
