Launch of the new Open Progressive University’s Ukraine programme!

We have launched the new programme ‘Progressive Ukraine’ in collaboration with S&D Group as part of FEPS’ Open Progressive University! This year-long programme aims to empower, inspire and engage with young progressive Ukrainians.

The courses will focus on the far-reaching impacts of Russia’s war of aggression, the reconstruction of Ukraine and its journey towards EU membership. The programme offers a unique e-learning platform to connect and equip Ukrainian students with the tools, knowledge, and networks to help shape their country’s European future.

The first module will feature lectures by several prominent figures, including:

• Oleksandra Matviichuk, Human rights lawyer and Nobel and Sakharov Prize laureate
• Tomáš Petříček, Former Foreign Affairs Minister of Czechia
• Marek Belka, Former Prime Minister of Poland
• Evin Incir, MEP of the S&D Group
• Marina Kaljurand, MEP of the S&D Group
• Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus, MEP of the S&D Group

The Open Progressive University is a first-of-a-kind e-learning platform established by FEPS to empower the progressive movement in Europe by broadening access to expert knowledge.
