Back for another year, FEPS ‘Open Progressive University’ is launching in partnership with the S&D Group and Pro International to power the Progressive Ukraine Programme.

Launched last year, this pioneering initiative aims to empower young Ukrainians to shape a progressive post-war society through educational partnership and tailored academic training. Specifically, the programme will inspire participants to prepare for the civic reconstruction of Ukraine, promote knowledge and awareness around the country’s EU accession process, and engage Ukraine’s next generation on their future place at the heart of the Union.

Based on the success of last year’s pilot, and the remarkable resilience displayed by participants in the face of relentless Russian attacks and electricity cuts, the Programme is being extended for a second edition.

For the next nine months, over 30 young professionals from across Ukrainian society will once again have the opportunity to engage with prominent European and Ukrainian politicians, policy practitioners, academics, experts, civil society and youth representatives via online live sessions, recorded lectures, and training sessions.
