The FEPS YAN academics network came to Brussels for an immersive three-day seminar. During the seminar, they met their political mentors — S&D MEPs — and engaged with key stakeholders, including political advisors, civil society members, academics, and EU civil servants.

As the second in-person seminar cycle, this event builds on the foundations set in Vienna, where participants formed their working groups. Since then, they have refined their research questions and methodologies through online sessions, shaping their policy studies with guidance from political and academic mentors.

Beyond mentorship and research collaboration, the network will take part in plenary sessions featuring lectures, discussions, and debates, offering a broader perspective on the EU agenda and the progressive debates. This seminar is a unique opportunity to connect academy and policy making.
