Access to affordable and sustainable housing remains a pressing challenge across Europe. Rising rental prices, housing speculation, and urban displacement affect multiple generations, particularly young people and seniors. As the demand for housing solutions increases, intergenerational models and non-speculative housing initiatives present innovative approaches to fostering social cohesion and long-term affordability.

This event brought together policymakers, civil society representatives, and activists to explore concrete solutions that promote intergenerational solidarity in housing. The discussions bridged local experiences with European policymaking, creating synergies for future collaboration.
