What are the possibilities around the ongoing debate on the transformation of European economic governance? On the occasion of the launch of our policy study, FEPS and Think-tank Action on Social Chance (TASC) hosted a conference to discuss the reform of the EU’s fiscal framework.  

The conference focused on various aspects of EU fiscal rules, including the adequacy of the fiscal rules in meeting their stated goals, whether fiscal standards would be more appropriate than hard rules, and the ability of the fiscal rules to meet Europe’s current and future investment needs.
