This session with ETUC Secretary General Esther Lynch and S&D Vice President Gabriele Bischoff served as one of the opening addresses of the FEPS-FES “Forging the new EU agenda” conference, which took place on 25-26 September 2024 in Brussels.

Following the speech by EU Commissioner for Equality Helena Dalli on “Anchoring Equality in the new EU agenda”, Esther Lynch and Gabriele Bischoff were invited on stage by the moderator László Andor FEPS Secretary General and former EU Commissioner.

This high-level talk, titled “Supporting workers in the transitions and ensuring quality jobs”, explored how to protect workers and secure good jobs amidst the challenges of the digital and green transitions.
