FEPS Training Manual – Training of Trainers

The Training Manuals belong to the toolbox of the FEPS Training Strategy. This training was designed for the “Training of Trainers” Project in 2024, with Foundation Max van der Stoel (FMS) and the Karl Renner Institut (RI), hence the methodology described below has already been successfully applied.

The purpose of the FEPS Training Manual is to: 

• Offer insights into the FEPS Training Activities
• Enable sharing methodologies
• Provide paths to multiplication
• Support FEPS Members in their strive to enhance their own training capacities
 

Duration: 3 days 

Target Group: Participants who have some experience facilitating and training groups in areas such as democracy, campaigning, media, public speaking, or thematic issues relevant to progressive and/or social- democratic politics (e.g. gender, housing, social policies, green policies, etc.) 

Purpose: To upskill the participants who are taking part and to allow them to join the FEPS Pool of Trainers and create standards of quality for the training projects. FEPS members, observer foundations, sister organisations and sister parties will also have access to this pool. To upskill the participants who are taking part. 

Aim: Encourage every participant to take a few steps towards becoming the best trainer they can be. Keeping their style and strengths intact and becoming part of a pool of trainers who can help each other improve and who will help the European progressive family develop and thrive.
