This expert seminar on clean industry brought together a small knowledge community of experts from diverse backgrounds, including think tanks, academia, trade unions, civil society, industry associations and EU institutions (European Parliament, CAN Europe, WWF, Agora Industrie, CoR, etc.). The purpose was to discuss important topics in a constructive manner, not shying away from confronting different perspectives in a respectful and relaxed atmosphere.

As part of the event, Thomas Frohlich (King’s College London) presented the preliminary conclusions of his upcoming PB on “Technological neutrality in the context of decarbonisation: critical analysis and alternatives”.

This paper was then discussed with the participants, with comments from MEP Bruno Tobback, followed by a roundtable discussion on the Industrial Accelerator Act (IAA): Risks, opportunities and policy coherence.

For more information regarding this event, please do not hesitate to contact Luis Sáez Jiménez, Project Officer (luis.saez@feps-europe.eu).
