Join us for the 2026 Silver Rose Awards, an evening of celebration, exchange and movement building for the progressive family. Every year, the Silver Rose Awards brings together partners from progressive parties, trade unions, and civil society to celebrate those who are fighting and hold firm in their commitment to a just transition, democracy and social justice.

This year, the Lifetime Achievement Award goes to Jan Eliasson, former Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, for a lifetime of work on peace, diplomacy and human rights. The Just Transition Award goes to the Philippine Movement for Climate Justice (PMCJ), a coalition of more than 150 organisations that helped stop 18 coal-fired power plants and 8 LNG plants.

Since 2000, SOLIDAR has organised the Silver Rose Awards, an award for progressive civil society, in collaboration with FEPS, the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament (S&D), and the Party of European Socialists (PES). The European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), PES Women, and the Young European Socialists (YES) have also partnered for this flagship event.

For more information regarding this event, please do not hesitate to contact Thainá Leite, Project Management Coordinator (thaina.leite@feps-europe.eu).
