In a context of new industrial policies being developed by the European Commission (Clean Industrial Deal, Industrial Decarbonisation Accelerator Act, Simplification Omnibus, etc.), an apparent shift in focus from the European Green Deal to competitiveness, and growing international geo-economic tensions, it is essential for progressive forces to engage and structure debates on industrial policy

The ‘Unpacking the Clean Industrial Deal‘ expert workshop gathered a knowledge community of experts, civil society representatives and policy-makers working on EU industrial policy to discuss how to ensure an efficient and just industrial decarbonisation process.
