FEPS, Progressive Britain, and the Karl-Renner-Institut proudly co-organised the 11th edition of the Oxford Symposium, which took place at St. Catherine’s College, Oxford, from 14 to 16 December 2025.

The Symposium opened with a welcoming dinner on Sunday, 14 December. It featured the presentation of the new book “The great unravelling: Globalisation in retreat?“, edited by Professor Patrick Diamond and Dr Ania Skrzypek.

Over the following two days, a select group of leading politicians and renowned academics gathered for a series of plenary sessions. This invitation-only event was designed to cultivate an engaged progressive community, reflecting on pressing contemporary challenges and contributing to progressive thought.

For further information regarding this event, please do not hesitate to contact Iris Vijverberg, FEPS Project Officer (iris.vijverberg@feps-europe.eu).
